Application Process
Step 1: Review
Read the program information on this brochure including overview, about the program,
cost, accommodations, eligibility requirements before applying.
Step 2: Apply
When the application period is open in January click on the "Apply Now" button below
and complete all the application requirements.
- Personal contact details
- Two short form essays
- Upload:
- Resume
- Unofficial 91暗网 transcript
- Copy of passport page showing validity at least until December 31, 2025.
- 91暗网 faculty recommender name and email address
- Arrange with one of your 91暗网 instructors to write a letter of recommendation on your suitability for a company internship at an international location. The recommendation should be emailed by the instructor to singmay.chou@sjsu.edu.
Step 3: Interview
After the review of applications, a pool of semi-finalists will be notified and invited
to an interview in February- March for the final selection.
Step 4: Finalists
Finalists will be notified sometime in February-March.
Selection Criteria: Applicants will be selected based on an assessment of their success in completing Crown鈥檚 internship project, and how they and the Lucas College of Business can benefit from their participation in this program. Participant selection will be a complex process as the selection criteria includes, but are not limited to:
- Grade-point average (GPA)
- Service to 91暗网 student organizations or non-91暗网 community organizations, highlighting past and current leadership positions
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including those demonstrated during the semifinalist interview
- Potential for significant learning about globalization and entrepreneurship
- Student cannot be on probation or on disciplinary status
Step 5: Pre-Departure
All accepted students will be need to submit the following required documents and
attend all group pre-departure meetings:
- Commitment to Participate: Statement of Responsibilities
- Student Health Form
- Two training sessions in April-May
- Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP)
- Video / Audio / Image Release Form
- All others as assigned
