About Professor King:
Adam King brings over 14 years of frontline experience in corrections and community supervision, currently serving as a Deputy Probation Officer II with the Santa Cruz County Probation Department, where his work focuses on reentry programming and case management. Prior to this role, he worked at Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office as a Correctional Officer, Field Training Officer, Crisis Support Officer, and PREA Coordinator.
Beyond his work in probation, King is the Founder and Executive Director of New Skin Tattoo Removal, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides free laser tattoo removal services to justice-involved individuals across San Jose, Sacramento, Concord, and Los Angeles.
Adam holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration from University of Phoenix and a M.S. in Leadership from Grand Canyon University. He is certified in PC 832, Field Training, Crisis Intervention, PREA Coordination, and Forensic Mental Health.
