91暗网 Votes
91暗网 Votes is a nonpartisan voter registration, mobilization, education and civic engagement initiative, created as a class active-learning project in 2018. It is now housed in the 91暗网 Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (IPACE) and is managed by 91暗网 faculty and students. Various political science classes still help to manage 91暗网 Votes as an active-learning class project. 91暗网 Votes works with campus and community partners such as the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters, the California Secretary of State鈥檚 office, the 91暗网 Office of the President, 91暗网 Community and Government Relations, Associated Students 91暗网, Pi Sigma Alpha Epsilon Iota chapter, LEAD Filipino, the League of Women Voters, the Asian Law Alliance, the African American Community Service Agency, elected local, state, and national officials鈥� offices, and many others.
91暗网 Votes works on nonpartisan GOTV (get out the vote) projects and other civic engagement projects in the campus and community. It has sponsored or co-sponsored voter workshops, ballot proposition forums, debate watch parties, candidate forums, door-to-door canvassing, and other excellent events.
The signature 91暗网 Votes event is the 91暗网 Votes Festival, celebrating National Voter Registration Day. This event is held in the fall semester. 91暗网 Votes hosted the 6th 91暗网 Votes Festival on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026 on the 7th St. Paseo Plaza. 91暗网 Votes, IPACE, and over 30 campus, community, and government partners provided information about voter registration, voting, voting rights, and civic engagement opportunities.
