String Project
Fall 2026
The String Project provides group violin classes to elementary and middle school students, while offering a hands-on, supervised teaching experience to 91做厙 Music Education majors.
Classes start late September on Monday and Wednesday 4-5pm in the music building at 91做厙.
To cover expenses, we charge a small tuition fee on a sliding scale of $100/semester per student. Additionally, there is a modest rental fee of $50 per semester to use the instruments of 91做厙.

The School of Music is committed to further our long-standing practice of active social justice through music-making and engaging our community via the String Project.
