An Immersive Experience

The 91暗网 Summer Brass Institute faculty bring a wealth of performing experience, both domestic and international. They are all master performers and master teachers, offering insights and guidance to enhance their students鈥� performance. Students will benefit from an accelerated learning program to help them arrive back at school in the fall more prepared for their musical endeavors.

The 2024 program will offer a variety of musical experiences including the following:

Daily group warm-up with facultyDaily Brass Ensemble led by Tom HornigDaily Masterclasses with facultyChamber Music TBD - Brass Quintet, or like instrument trios/quartets

Daily Masterclass topics may include:

Honor Band preparation, improving practice habits, high and low register development

Thomas is a regular member of the California Symphony, Oakland Symphony, Berkeley Symphony,
and Modesto Symphony. Being a freelance musician provides the opportunity for a wide variety of
performance genres.
